ABOUT COACHING //
Presenting in front of others can be scary. In psychological studies fear of presenting comes above the fear of flying - and even of death - perhaps the ultimate fear being death by Public Speaking!
Actors know all about this, and also the importance of making a good first impression.
We know that people are making judgements about us as soon as we step into the casting room - in fact it's within the first 4 seconds of meeting us. So we want to make sure we're making the right impression.
Using many of the skills I learnt as an actor, I take clients through various exercises, working on the flexibility of their bodies and voices to make them more engaging. The idea being that with practice they will actually look forward to being in the spotlight.
I can also help you work on the structure and content of your presentation or pitch so that you tell the clearest story possible. We resonate to story, and they can make your message more memorable and compelling.
"I’d like to thank you so much for your amazing coaching; it was illuminating! You managed to transform us in a matter of few hours. I cannot believe how different I felt at the end of the session. I could not believe what you made us achieve in such a short period of time"
'Working with Kate has been a great experience. She quickly puts you at ease and provides techniques to show how to speak with clarity and impact in a wide range of demanding situations whether you are addressing one person or 500. I would thoroughly recommend working with Kate to anyone who is looking to improve their Public Speaking”
